Lumby Men's Shed Fund
The Lumby Men's Shed is a welcoming workshop space where men share skills, work on projects side by side, and build friendships that support health and wellbeing. Tools wear out. Rent comes due. That's why the Shed set up a fund with CFNO, so support is always there when it's needed.
It's part of the growing Men's Shed movement: give people a shared space and the tools to work with their hands, and connection follows. Your gift keeps that going here in Lumby.
Building Connection & Wellbeing By Working Side by Side.
It is through sharing skills, knowledge, and friendship that men create a safe and welcoming space, one where struggles can be shared, and support is offered without judgment. It is by working shoulder-to-shoulder that men build meaningful connections with each other.
That work doesn't stay inside the Shed. Members have built picnic tables for the Maple Lake Community Club, indoor horseshoe pits and shuffleboard for Daybreak Adult Day Care, a sidewalk sign for the Legion, a bench for IDA Pharmacy, and backboards, quilt racks, and birdhouse kits for the community. Every project is a chance to put new skills to use and give something back to Lumby.
