The Good Food Box
The Good Food Box (GFB) takes an upstream approach to food insecurity, health, and food system issues. The GFB is a vibrant non-profit, volunteer-powered community program that promotes healthy eating by providing dignified access to fresh healthy produce, locally sourced when possible to the community regardless of income.

Current Initiative: Helping Kids Helping Schools
GFB has partnered with two local organizations to offer access to fresh produce and food for students living and learning in the North Okanagan.
SilverStar Play Forever will match up to $10,000 doubling community donations for this important program!
Community Foundation donors will further match up to $10,000 - turning your $1 donation into $3.

The Good Food Box Society is a volunteer-run, universally accessible produce-buying cooperative that increases access to affordable local vegetables and fruit through community partnerships while strengthening our local food system.
