Health Essentials Clinic (HEC) specialises in the treatment of eating disorders and related mental health challenges, providing integrated, wrap-around care for children, adults, and families across the Okanagan.
HEC has partnered with Community Foundation North Okanagan to ensure that donated funds are received responsibly and used effectively, so that no one in our region has to face these challenges without support..

Current Initiative:
Bringing the SEEN Parent Documentary to the Okanagan
Across the Okanagan, parents want to do better for their children, but the support and knowledge to do so isn't always accessible. HEC is bringing the SEEN Parent Documentary to our region as part of their commitment to community education and accessible mental health support.
Understanding the science of attachment and child brain development helps families move from reaction to intention. Your donation helps make this kind of meaningful, local programming possible.
About Health Essentials Clinic
Many families in the North Okanagan are navigating eating disorders and mental health challenges without access to the specialised care they need. Families who can afford it often travel to the Lower Mainland. For those who cannot, HEC is here, providing access to experienced practitioners who specialise in counselling, nutrition, child development, and trauma-informed care across the Okanagan.
Families Matter. Healthy Essentials Clinic is founded on the belief that prevention, early intervention, and integrative care change lives. Healing is not about perfection. It's about awareness, compassion, and connection.
